The Inspiration behind 4BAR4. From Kenya, to France and now The UK
where it all began...
THE INSPIRATION BEHIND 4BAR4
4BAR4 began with a shared appreciation for the places and experiences that bring people together. When Nigel and Sharon met at one of their favourite locations in the Lake District, their mutual love of its natural beauty, atmosphere and sense of escape helped shape the vision behind the brand. Inspired by Nigel's years of experience in East African safari, 4BAR4 was created to bring the magic of the African sundowner, the warmth, connection and atmosphere of gathering together as the sun sets with a drink in hand, to events across the UK.
From the expedition vehicles and safari-inspired styling to the carefully considered guest experience, every detail has been designed to create something immersive, distinctive and memorable. The aim is simple: to help hosts impress their guests, deliver seamless events and create moments that will be talked about long after the occasion has ended.

Nigel Francis
Nigel's passion for adventure, the outdoors and 4x4 vehicles has shaped much of his life and career. His years working as a game driver and safari operator in Kenya gave him a genuine connection to the landscapes, wildlife and way of life that make East Africa so unique. It was through this experience that he developed a deep appreciation for the relaxed, social moments that happen around a safari sundowner.
That passion for outdoor experiences continued through the creation of a safari-inspired glamping experience in the South of France, where Nigel combined his love of exploration, hospitality and attention to detail to create a unique guest experience. His enthusiasm for expedition vehicles, safari design and bringing people together in beautiful settings has influenced every aspect of 4BAR4.
Alongside Sharon, Nigel has brought these experiences together to create a mobile bar concept that captures the atmosphere of an African sundowner and brings that sense of escape, connection and hospitality to events across the UK.

Sharon Beck
With a career built on entrepreneurship, creativity and creating exceptional experiences, Sharon has spent over three decades building and leading businesses across transport, logistics, marine management and events. Throughout her career, she has been driven by finding smarter solutions, improving the way things are done and delivering a level of service that clients can rely on.
From founding and growing a successful transport and installation company, delivering projects for major retailers including Sainsbury's, M&S and Argos, to managing and maintaining luxury yachts for international owners in Spain, Sharon has developed a reputation for precision, organisation and attention to detail.
Her passion for creating memorable experiences continued through her work producing and managing high-profile events across the UK and Europe, where seamless delivery and exceptional guest experiences were paramount. Today, Sharon brings this wealth of experience, creativity and commitment to outstanding hospitality to 4BAR4.
